I mentioned previously that there are almost limitless options for lash styles and so many different combinations to make unique sets.  Today I’m going to highlight the different lash curls available to you to get the look that you want.  The lash curl helps contribute to the drama a chosen look will give.  The stronger the curl, the more noticeable to the eye your lashes will look.  The more natural the curl, the less impact it will have in the overall appearance of the look.

Clients will choose a natural curl if they don’t want their lashes to be obvious.  These clients usually just want a mild enhancement prominent enough to replace mascara and forgo makeup.  The stronger more dramatic curls are for the “Bam! Look at me" women.  They want the impact dynamic enough to turn heads and look ready for the next party.

There are 5 Main Lash Curls

There are 5 Main Lash Curls

There are 5 main lash curls to choose from.  Those curls are J, B, C, D, and L.  The letters signify the curve of the lash.

J - Curl

The J Curl is a flat lash with a slight hook at the end.  This lash is ideal for clients who like long straight lashes with just a little curl.  Most clients will want to get an eye opener look so it may not be commonly requested, but I keep it in stock for those rare clients who like long straight lashes.

B –Curl

The B Curl is a natural curl that mimics the look of most natural lashes.  I call this the safe curl, as it won’t scare a first time lash wearer.   It normally gives just enough umph to make a difference but still leave people wondering what changed about your appearance.

C - Curl

The C- Curl is the most commonly used curl on the market.  It lies smack in the middle of natural and dramatic and delivers a satisfying amount of lift for most clients.  It’s a good choice for almost any set of natural lashes.

D - Curl

The D-Curl is the strongest curl on the market.  If you want to get noticed, this is the most dramatic curl.  By placing the longest eyelash extensions in the center of the eye, it can really open the eye up creating a doe eyed look.

L - Curl

The L- Curl is fairly new to the market and best suited for deep-set eyes and clients with single eyelid.  It is perfect for clients who have straight lashes but want maximum lift.

Don’t be afraid to experiment.  You can try C - Curl and then go up to a D - Curl or even down to the B – Curl.  The sky is the limit.
